August 1, 2010
We decided to offer two monthly specials for the month of August. The first package, as it says on the website, is a package of 10 articles plus distribution and 10 blogs. Both of these will include your own keywords and your urls. Heck, we can even post them for you if you don't have the time. One thing that a lot of people seem to be doing is really utilizing the articles and blogs to their advantage. We write the blogs, you put them on your website, and then use the article marketing to get better PR for your site. Simple as that! This package is $130. A great price for what you get!
The second package, which is something we said we would never offer, was a special on the Ultimate Marketing Package or UMP if you think it's too long! This includes a little bit of everything including Article Marketing, Blogging, Social Networking, Social Bookmarking, Videos, etc etc. This package is usually $1,000, but we are offering it for $300. As a customer, you can buy UP to 3 packages for the UMP deal.
The UMP package is a spectacular package if you are WAY back on the search engine result pages and you want to jump-start your website. The 10/10 special is really superb for people that NEED content. But, even more, its great for websites that are mini-sites. Essentially, you make money from people going to your website by doing Adsense or whatever else. So getting people TO your website and upping your SERPs is a great way to make some extra money.
Remember, with Article Marketing you will only get more backlinks over time.
We are still (also) donating 25% of ALL money made from the Kristi Ambrose Marketing & Content Solutions website.
These are both really amazing packages. I really can't see us topping this any time soon, so take advantage of the special while you can!

We have a customer of ours, who I now personally consider a good friend. His 2 year
old child Bryson was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia with
MLL. Bryson was supposed to be done with all of his treatments in May 2010,
but they found that he relapsed soon after the tests were done on him.
So, Tim, Brysons Dad, has asked me if there is anything I can do for
their family. There are two BIG ways I want to help them.
First off you can see Bryson's website here: BrysonRocks.com go to this website to read more about Bryson and his type of Cancer and to see photos of this cute little boy!
The first way I want to help is by contributing 25% of all profits made from the Kristi Ambrose Marketing & Content Solutions website to Bryson and his family. If you buy from the site, 25% of your purchase will go directly to Bryson, Tim and Stephanie. You don't need to do anything special. Just purchase and 25% goes directly to them.
The second thing we would like to do is get into contact with a few of the other non-writers and writers in the Internet community and write content on chosen keywords. Then, we would use our business to distribute these articles to get their website ranked on the engines. If this is something you would be interested in contributing to (pro bono) please contact us here. Once you contact us, we will give you the specifics on what the content should be/include.
If you are not interested in buying from us or contributing content, please by all means go to BrysonRocks.com and donate something at their website. A little bit goes a long way. It's important that when you CAN help, that you do help.
Thank you for your time, Kristi Ambrose Marketing & Content Solutions

We are trying to get more of our customers and clients involved in
the business by adding a few additional features that some other
companies won't. One of the things we would like to do is get customers
involved by getting suggestions on what the next Monthly Special should
be. If we pick your monthly special, we will give you extra dollar
amounts or percentages off of the special discount price. For example,
on our site you can see that for a pack of 50 articles it's $640. If
you suggest that we give 50 articles for 25% off (please try to be
reasonable!) it would be $480 for customers, but since it was your
suggestion, we will give it to you for $360. Essentially you would be
getting a pretty darn good discount for this and you can use it for the
entire month your suggestion was chosen for. Any questions? Contact us!
The Monthly Discount "prize" is available to anyone, anywhere, for any
services or products you see on our website. Again, try to be fair in
the Monthly Discount suggestions!

Email marketing CAN be a pretty nice tactic to use for advertising/promotion. However, I have to state that before you even bother to send out an email, make sure you are doing it the legit way. Please don't send out spam email. First off, its not ethical! Second off, what do YOU do when you receive "spam" you don't want? You probably do what every other person in the world does - you hit that little "mark as junk" button! Paying someone to send emails is even worse. You are essentially wasting your money that you could be spending on a more legit tactic!
Email marketing is considered as one of the most effective ways of online marketing besides content creation services or article marketing. With the proper SEO you can get a number of potential customers that visit your website. You can then get the addresses of them and stay in touch with them by emails by adding an optional "newsletter" option on your website. You can inform them about your new products or offers with your email. Sending an effective email can be very tricky. Most of the emails are recognized as spam by email providers. Even if they reach the inbox, they are oftentimes not read by the clients and will be deleted. Here are some tips for sending effective emails for attracting customers.
- Collect the data of your customers and create separate segments like the customers who purchased one time, the customers who purchased more than once, the customers that didn't purchase, but want to be notified of sales, etc. You can use the available tools for creating targeted email campaigns such as iContact. Frankly, I used Aweber for years and years. But, after a few heated discussions with them I decided to quit the "world-wide leader in Email Marketing" and try someone else. It really depends on whom you want to work with when it comes to choosing a program and what options you want. Honestly, I use a sweet little FREE service called Mail Chimp. It does everything I need it to. Even if you needed to upgrade to add more emails to the account, it's still cheaper than Aweber. But, again - this will depend on you. After collecting their data, you can send personalized emails for grabbing their attention.
- Avoid using "spam" words. If you use spam words, your chances of going in someone's spam box triple. If the site you are using has a Spam Word Alert - use it! This is a nifty little program built inside the mailer that will tell you at what percentage your email seems "spammy". If its pretty low, say 1-10%, don't worry about it. However, if the program states that your email is considered 50% spam, you are going to want to change the wording. To find the most prevalent spam words to keep them OUT of your emails or newsletters, you can check out this link for 200 Spam Words to see more information
- Make sure the subject is simple and understood by everyone. Avoid capitalization, exclamation marks, weird symbols, etc., for not being flagged as spam by email providers or recipients. The shorter the subject the higher the chances of the receiver opening it. So keep the subject as short as you can, but detailed. The subject line should be related to the content of your email. Most of the email readers turn on the preview pane, so don't forget to include the subject line in the body of the email.
- Use the subject lines of the emails to make the readers curious. Many people are interested to know about new things so whenever there is a chance, share the interesting news of your site with them. You can create a sense of urgency like "Paul, offer exists for three days only". And on the subject line you use can state the benefits they will get from reading your email. Remember the subject plays a vital role in opening and reading an email and thus promoting your business.
If you need help writing a newsletter or email for your customers, Kristi Ambrose Marketing & Content Solutions can help you out with these! We can write one, two, three or however many you need. Email us for a price quote!

Businesses need exposure. It doesn't matter if you have a website
online or if you have an actual location offline. Getting exposure
means promoting your business to people that can use your product or
your services. In order to get exposure online, you must have
a website. It's kind of funny, I would assume everyone these days would
know to have an online site for their services or product. But,
sometimes people just don't understand how awesome the Internet is and
how many ops this can bring to you. However, it is a big challenge to
attract more readers to your website. Blogging helps you in attracting
traffic. Communication is very important. You can communicate to them
with your web content. The content in your website should be
unique and informational and can be understood by everyone. Use simple
language and explain the features of your products in a how-to do way.
The profiles of your partners and interviews with notable personalities
also help to some
extent in connecting with your audience. The blog content is used to
not only help your readers understand what you are selling, but it
teaches them things as well. If you make a blog just selling stuff, chances are no one will be interested.
No one "likes" being SOLD. Instead, make it interesting, fun, and
educational. Teach them something! Using blog and web content is also a
way to get search engines to crawl your page, pick up your keywords,
read your meta tags and keywords and of course index your website.
Article Marketing works in the same way. Its used to enthuse the
reader, but its also used for indexing and creating backlinks. The more backlinks you have, the better rank your website will have in the search engines.
Community building is very important for getting more fans to your
website. Regular emailing to customers is not being sufficient enough;
involve them in the discussions and feedback. Reward the well
contributed customers. Or give them opportunity to be brand ambassadors
by providing designs or logos for your products. Sharing is an
excellent opportunity for spreading your messages. So share everything
about your products from blog posts to photos, videos, etc., via social
networking sites. Often share the content of specific ideas especially
branded pieces. This enhances
search engine optimization as well as potential readers. And again, you
aren't just selling to them. You are showing them that you are a normal
person, just like they are, but the smaller part of you is the selling
part of you. You can catch more bees with honey. Remember that saying?
Well, you can catch more customers if you don't act like a salesman. Even on this blog, we are obviously selling something. But, we also teach visitors some things they may not be familiar with. It builds a bond. And besides, who doesn't love sharing something they have knowledge about. You simply cannot put a price tag on that!
Offering discounts, contests and exclusive specials enhance your sales.
You can double your sales when you inform them with social sharing
sites like Twitter, Facebook, etc. Maintaining good relationship with
key bloggers and keeping in touch regularly with current or prospective
customers help you attaining more traffic. Use a specific
targeted audience. Be ready to provide the needful information at free
of cost or answer the questions for problems of customers. Offer them
the leads to up-sell on premium packages. This seems to lose you money
at first, but ultimately you will get more clients on long-term basis
which will make up for any money that was lost. I'm not saying lose
$50,000, but if you gotta spend money to make money!
If any of the above does not work for you, then contact our content
creation services for promoting your website. Many content creation
companies in PA offer ultimate marketing package for promoting content.
They look after everything from writing articles about your products
and website to sharing them in social networking sites and so much
more.

As keywords play a major role for increasing web traffic, you have to include them carefully. Short keywords are single phrases, but long-tail keywords have three or more words as a phrase. These are more specific on focusing the content and get the attention of customers easily. As a result potential customers who actually want to buy the product search for it. In other words, most of the customers who search for the product are interested to buy them. And of course it may increase targeted traffic to your site by placing back links to your site from your blog posts or social networking sites. But beware don't put the irrelevant links. As we have discussed above long-tail keywords are used for more specific information, so the back links given by you should offer relevant information. Use different long-tail keywords which have similar meaning to focus on a specific topic at your landing page. For example, if you are offering content creation services, then include the keyword about the content creation services of some companies or content creation companies in PA. Create multiple pages for attracting human as well as robot readers. Optimization of your landing pages for each keyword is important. Include carefully the page title, headers, description and images. Check for title tags that became popular in 24hours time frame using keyword research tool. Insert those keywords in your content three to four times naturally. Make sure the content on each page should be unique. In this way you can attain search engine optimization naturally. Though the long-tail keywords focus on specific subject, short keywords play a major role in attaining more traffic. Also, when you use phrases rather than keywords (one words) you can also end up with a lot less competition for that specific key phrase, and with billions of websites online today fighting for the first page, it's a good idea to cut down on competition any way you can! So use as many short keywords as possible for enhancing web traffic. In this way you can attract more customers. You can request them to provide their emails that visit your website and contact them later. Anyway long-tail keywords are ideal for connecting with potential customers. This is the ultimate way to attract specific traffic.

Website Marketing Tactics

A funny sort of thing happens when you get online in the morning or
evening, you begin to simply lose track of time. It happens to the best
of us - even me! Whether it's checking my mail or posting on Social
sites, I seem to lose track of time and before I know it, 2 hours
has passed! In order to make the best of your time online, especially
when it comes to marketing your website on Social Networking sites like
Twitter and Facebook is to have a schedule! You can either do
this schedule by yourself, post the updates yourself, etc. Or you can
get someone to do it for you if you do need to do more important
things. Here are a few other tactics and tricks you can follow along
with: - First off, find a social site that works the best for
you. I know I know. Twitter and Facebook are the "IT" sites right now.
But, sometimes you might want to take a look at other websites as well
- ones that are less saturated. Twitter has around 6 million users and Facebook has around 600 Million. Some of which
have double, triple or quadruple accounts! If you are posting daily on
Twitter and Facebook and you aren't seeing any results. For example,
PartnerUp has a mere 150,000 users. Ryze
has 500,000. MeetTheBoss has 350,000. These are GREAT numbers. Check
out this comprehensive list of Social Networking sites for more info.
- Back to the scheduling! It's really important that you post at
various times during the day so that its NOT the same old same old.
But, it's also good that you don't go overboard. No sense in sitting
there for hours on end. Besides, you and I both know what happens when
you go on Facebook or Twitter to "update", you see you have 24
invitations, you have 31 Private Messages and you have an accumulation
of various people replying to your old updates from today, last week,
last month, etc. These people that are replying to you - should be
replied BACK to you. Prospective customers! It's a good idea to pick a
day to post, a day to send/reply to messages, and a day to
reply/comment on people's/your own posts. - Use various
companies to save yourself time! Time is of the essence ladies and
gents. There are only 24 hours in a day sadly. If you are an important
higher up in your company, the last thing you should be doing is
posting updates at 3am in the morning. Get someone else to do it for
you. They can say everything you want them to say, include keywords,
links, etc. Paying someone to do this for you is actually NOT all that
expensive. In the near future we plan to offer a Social Networking
service on a ala carte package. - Social Networking - We have three smaller packages for the Social Networking. This will get you posts
on Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Google Buzz, and SMS (non-spam). These
will be spread out over a months time. The post will contain a little
snippet (whatever you want). Along with your URL. The first option is 10 posts a month. We will charge $10 for this option. The second option is 20 posts a month. We will charge $20 for this option. The third option is 30 posts a month. We will charge $30 for this option.
That is pretty darn inexpensive for what you get. It's not only about
WHAT you get, but what you will be doing instead of piddling around on
sites like Twitter and LinkedIn! Use your time wisely. - Be
Patient!: Remember, as with most things on the Internet, it takes time.
Nothing happens over night, I don't care who says it does. Building
relationships, building your brand, and building traffic - happens with
time. Get to know the people you are meeting on these social sites. They, like you, are selling something. If you can get them to see that
you are not only a person behind a computer, they just might take a
second to see if YOU, your product or YOUR service can help them. If
you just post post post, people are just going to feel like you are selling them.

Social Sites
May 31, 2010
On occasion I have mentioned that if you slack off when it comes to marketing your website - have it be with Social Networking, Social Bookmarking, Blogging, or just talking to people offline, you could end up losing your space that you already established on the search engines. While this is true, it does not happen over night. Your visitors might start dwindling down once you stop marketing - but most likely, it won't wipe you off the search engines right away. However, it still is important that you try to stay consistent in your moves. So how much is too much, and how little is not enough? When it comes to something like Blogging, you should be placing at least 1 blog every 1-3 days on your website.
Especially important if you have a blog like we do on our site, one that is attached to the site rather than a separate entity. The quality along with the quantity of words is important as well. Many people think that by using PLR content, you can get away with it when it comes to the search engines. Frankly, we have done some tests. We did a blog with quality content - quality written, not overrun with ads and hyper links. And we did a blog with less than stellar content, tons of hyper links and Google ads.
Which one do YOU think got the better results? It was the quality site of course! For Social Bookmarking or Social Networking, I honestly don't think there is a "too much" additive here. Of course if you spam the heck out of your profile, people might be less likely to read it. Which again, is why quality is so important. Yes, you want to grab people's attention. But, you don't want to outright spam them. Usually for our Social Networking accounts, I try to do 1-5 posts a day. You can go for up to a dozen, just try not to do it every 30 seconds! Social Bookmarking is the same way. Usually there is no wrong or right way of going about this.
However, if you are posting the same stuff on the same accounts all day long, you might be caught with a big red X on your forehead. For Social Bookmarking, this can be done every month - 1-3 times a month. It should also contain a quality "line" telling the person what you are offering, along with your keywords, URL, anchor and so on and so forth. Article Marketing is nice, this can be done virtually as much as you want. The more you do it, the better the results for your keyword. Some people do 100 articles per month whereas others do 1. Kristi Ambrose Marketing & Content Solutions started out JUST on Article Marketing alone, so we have a lot of knowledge about this tactic.
More is better in this instance. Keywords are also important as well as quality content. Your content should have about 450 words (especially if you plan on distributing it). The same goes for keywords that are similar. If you have keywords like:
Cloth Dog Leashes
Leather Dog leashes
Diamond Dog Leashes
You would obviously not be able to use each keyword 3 times because it has the ending "dog leashes". If you would use those 3 keywords 3 times, virtually you are using "dog leashes" a total of 9 times. Big no-no in this distribution realm! If you do a 1% to 4% ratio per keyword, you should be fine when it comes to Google and the other engines. But, more importantly, if you are distributing this content, it cannot be saturated with the same keyword over and over again or it won't get accepted at a lot of sites. This is considered keyword spamming!
Really, there are quite a lot of rules when it comes to Article Marketing tactics unlike the other tactics mentioned on this site and this blog. But, if you do it correctly it can end up paying off in the end. If you ever have any questions about how to optimize your Articles better to allow for more distribution, don't hesitate to ask us! We are just a quick email away!

Website Marketing Tactics

I think a lot of people are under the assumption that all you have to do is work your butt off for one day or a few days, and that's it. You advertised in all the right places. You write a few blogs and articles. Hey, you even signed up for a Twitter and Facebook account! Marketing your website online, simply doesn't work like this. It's not a one-time thing or a one-week thing. You have to remember that there are thousands possibly millions of other people in the same position as you, with possibly the same keywords, same industry, and they also market online. Think of it as a garden. You can plant the seeds, cover them with the best soil, and feed them with the best nutrients and water. But, if you don't keep up with those seeds, they will never develop!
This is why we always tell clients there are three letters you need to remember when it comes to Internet Marketing - rather you doing it yourself or someone else doing it for you.
C: Consistency E: Efficiency P: Patience!
Consistency: You can't just buy $10 worth of advertising materials this month and $500 next month and expect to get the same results. Maybe $400 / $500. But, in order to get the best results every month, chances are you are going to have to be consistent in not only what you spend, but what tactics you are using!
Efficiency: Ask anyone! Internet Marketing is a constant job. You never can stop advertising or marketing your website. The second YOU stop marketing your site, someone will swoop right in and take your place. This means you will have lost placement in the engines, which is ultimately a very important thing because it's how you are viewed by consumers. Fair? Well, not really. But, again, the first 1-3 pages are considered the creme de la creme when it comes to searches on places like Google. Consumers TRUST those three pages. How many people really go past page three? Not many! Efficiency is also one of the main reasons you hire your marketing OUT to someone like Kristi Ambrose Marketing & Content Solutions.
A company like us, does everything you would do (and so much more), but they keep up with it. While you might get sick and need to take a few days off - we have employees that can do the work for you. Wouldn't it be nice to be assured that someone else is cheering you on and working to keep your site at the top of the search engines?!?
Patience: None of us like waiting, but most marketing tactics do take time. I'm not talking 3 months, I'm talking a few days to a few weeks. For something like Social Media you would most likely see results ASAP. For article marketing, this takes a little longer for distribution and acceptance, so this usually takes about 2 weeks.
If you consider these three aspects of Internet Marketing you will have much better results, and we know what that means - sales, customers, and success!
