Keywords Play A Major Role For Increasing Potential Clients

June 15, 2010

As keywords play a major role for increasing web traffic, you have to include them carefully. Short keywords are single phrases, but long-tail keywords have three or more words as a phrase. These are more specific on focusing the content and get the attention of customers easily.

As a result potential customers who actually want to buy the product search for it. In other words, most of the customers who search for the product are interested to buy them.

And of course it may increase targeted traffic to your site by placing back links to your site from your blog posts or social networking sites. But beware don't put the irrelevant links. As we have discussed above long-tail keywords are used for more specific information, so the back links given by you should offer relevant information.

Use different long-tail keywords which have similar meaning to focus on a specific topic at your landing page. For example, if you are offering content creation services, then include the keyword about the content creation services of some companies or content creation companies in PA.

Create multiple pages for attracting human as well as robot readers. Optimization of your landing pages for each keyword is important. Include carefully the page title, headers, description and images. Check for title tags that became popular in 24hours time frame using keyword research tool.

Insert those keywords in your content three to four times naturally. Make sure the content on each page should be unique. In this way you can attain search engine optimization naturally. Though the long-tail keywords focus on specific subject, short keywords play a major role in attaining more traffic. Also, when you use phrases rather than keywords (one words) you can also end up with a lot less competition for that specific key phrase, and with billions of websites online today fighting for the first page, it's a good idea to cut down on competition any way you can!

So use as many short keywords as possible for enhancing web traffic. In this way you can attract more customers. You can request them to provide their emails that visit your website and contact them later. Anyway long-tail keywords are ideal for connecting with potential customers. This is the ultimate way to attract specific traffic.

How Can I Market My Website On Social Networking Sites Correctly?

June 4, 2010

A funny sort of thing happens when you get online in the morning or evening, you begin to simply lose track of time. It happens to the best of us - even me! Whether it's checking my mail or posting on Social sites, I seem to lose track of time and before I know it, 2 hours has passed! In order to make the best of your time online, especially when it comes to marketing your website on Social Networking sites like Twitter and Facebook is to have a schedule!

You can either do this schedule by yourself, post the updates yourself, etc. Or you can get someone to do it for you if you do need to do more important things. Here are a few other tactics and tricks you can follow along with:

- First off, find a social site that works the best for you. I know I know. Twitter and Facebook are the "IT" sites right now. But, sometimes you might want to take a look at other websites as well - ones that are less saturated. Twitter has around 6 million users and Facebook has around 600 Million. Some of which have double, triple or quadruple accounts! If you are posting daily on Twitter and Facebook and you aren't seeing any results.

For example, PartnerUp has a mere 150,000 users. Ryze has 500,000. MeetTheBoss has 350,000. These are GREAT numbers. Check out this comprehensive list of Social Networking sites for more info.

- Back to the scheduling! It's really important that you post at various times during the day so that its NOT the same old same old. But, it's also good that you don't go overboard. No sense in sitting there for hours on end. Besides, you and I both know what happens when you go on Facebook or Twitter to "update", you see you have 24 invitations, you have 31 Private Messages and you have an accumulation of various people replying to your old updates from today, last week, last month, etc. These people that are replying to you - should be replied BACK to you. Prospective customers! It's a good idea to pick a day to post, a day to send/reply to messages, and a day to reply/comment on people's/your own posts.

- Use various companies to save yourself time! Time is of the essence ladies and gents. There are only 24 hours in a day sadly. If you are an important higher up in your company, the last thing you should be doing is posting updates at 3am in the morning. Get someone else to do it for you. They can say everything you want them to say, include keywords, links, etc. Paying someone to do this for you is actually NOT all that expensive. In the near future we plan to offer a Social Networking service on a ala carte package.

- Social Networking - We have three smaller packages for the Social Networking. This will get you posts on Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Google Buzz, and SMS (non-spam). These will be spread out over a months time. The post will contain a little snippet (whatever you want). Along with your URL.

The first option is 10 posts a month. We will charge $10 for this option.

The second option is 20 posts a month. We will charge $20 for this option.

The third option is 30 posts a month. We will charge $30 for this option.

That is pretty darn inexpensive for what you get. It's not only about WHAT you get, but what you will be doing instead of piddling around on sites like Twitter and LinkedIn! Use your time wisely.

- Be Patient!: Remember, as with most things on the Internet, it takes time. Nothing happens over night, I don't care who says it does. Building relationships, building your brand, and building traffic - happens with time. Get to know the people you are meeting on these social sites.

They, like you, are selling something. If you can get them to see that you are not only a person behind a computer, they just might take a second to see if YOU, your product or YOUR service can help them. If you just post post post, people are just going to feel like you are selling them.

Slack Off And Lose Your Spot!

May 31, 2010
On occasion I have mentioned that if you slack off when it comes to marketing your website - have it be with Social Networking, Social Bookmarking, Blogging, or just talking to people offline, you could end up losing your space that you already established on the search engines. While this is true, it does not happen over night. Your visitors might start dwindling down once you stop marketing - but most likely, it won't wipe you off the search engines right away. However, it still is important that you try to stay consistent in your moves. So how much is too much, and how little is not enough? When it comes to something like Blogging, you should be placing at least 1 blog every 1-3 days on your website.

Especially important if you have a blog like we do on our site, one that is attached to the site rather than a separate entity. The quality along with the quantity of words is important as well. Many people think that by using PLR content, you can get away with it when it comes to the search engines. Frankly, we have done some tests. We did a blog with quality content - quality written, not overrun with ads and hyper links. And we did a blog with less than stellar content, tons of hyper links and Google ads.

Which one do YOU think got the better results? It was the quality site of course! For Social Bookmarking or Social Networking, I honestly don't think there is a "too much" additive here. Of course if you spam the heck out of your profile, people might be less likely to read it. Which again, is why quality is so important. Yes, you want to grab people's attention. But, you don't want to outright spam them. Usually for our Social Networking accounts, I try to do 1-5 posts a day. You can go for up to a dozen, just try not to do it every 30 seconds! Social Bookmarking is the same way. Usually there is no wrong or right way of going about this.

However, if you are posting the same stuff on the same accounts all day long, you might be caught with a big red X on your forehead. For Social Bookmarking, this can be done every month - 1-3 times a month. It should also contain a quality "line" telling the person what you are offering, along with your keywords, URL, anchor and so on and so forth. Article Marketing is nice, this can be done virtually as much as you want. The more you do it, the better the results for your keyword. Some people do 100 articles per month whereas others do 1. Kristi Ambrose Marketing & Content Solutions started out JUST on Article Marketing alone, so we have a lot of knowledge about this tactic.

More is better in this instance. Keywords are also important as well as quality content. Your content should have about 450 words (especially if you plan on distributing it). The same goes for keywords that are similar. If you have keywords like:

Cloth Dog Leashes

Leather Dog leashes

Diamond Dog Leashes

You would obviously not be able to use each keyword 3 times because it has the ending "dog leashes". If you would use those 3 keywords 3 times, virtually you are using "dog leashes" a total of 9 times. Big no-no in this distribution realm! If you do a 1% to 4% ratio per keyword, you should be fine when it comes to Google and the other engines. But, more importantly, if you are distributing this content, it cannot be saturated with the same keyword over and over again or it won't get accepted at a lot of sites. This is considered keyword spamming!

Really, there are quite a lot of rules when it comes to Article Marketing tactics unlike the other tactics mentioned on this site and this blog. But, if you do it correctly it can end up paying off in the end. If you ever have any questions about how to optimize your Articles better to allow for more distribution, don't hesitate to ask us! We are just a quick email away!

C.E.P And What It Means For Your Marketing Tactics

May 6, 2010

I think a lot of people are under the assumption that all you have to do is work your butt off for one day or a few days, and that's it. You advertised in all the right places. You write a few blogs and articles. Hey, you even signed up for a Twitter and Facebook account! Marketing your website online, simply doesn't work like this. It's not a one-time thing or a one-week thing. You have to remember that there are thousands possibly millions of other people in the same position as you, with possibly the same keywords, same industry, and they also market online. Think of it as a garden. You can plant the seeds, cover them with the best soil, and feed them with the best nutrients and water. But, if you don't keep up with those seeds, they will never develop!

This is why we always tell clients there are three letters you need to remember when it comes to Internet Marketing - rather you doing it yourself or someone else doing it for you.

C: Consistency
E: Efficiency
P: Patience!

Consistency: You can't just buy $10 worth of advertising materials this month and $500 next month and expect to get the same results. Maybe $400 / $500. But, in order to get the best results every month, chances are you are going to have to be consistent in not only what you spend, but what tactics you are using!

Efficiency: Ask anyone! Internet Marketing is a constant job. You never can stop advertising or marketing your website. The second YOU stop marketing your site, someone will swoop right in and take your place. This means you will have lost placement in the engines, which is ultimately a very important thing because it's how you are viewed by consumers. Fair? Well, not really. But, again, the first 1-3 pages are considered the creme de la creme when it comes to searches on places like Google. Consumers TRUST those three pages. How many people really go past page three? Not many! Efficiency is also one of the main reasons you hire your marketing OUT to someone like Kristi Ambrose Marketing & Content Solutions.

A company like us, does everything you would do (and so much more), but they keep up with it. While you might get sick and need to take a few days off - we have employees that can do the work for you. Wouldn't it be nice to be assured that someone else is cheering you on and working to keep your site at the top of the search engines?!?

Patience: None of us like waiting, but most marketing tactics do take time. I'm not talking 3 months, I'm talking a few days to a few weeks. For something like Social Media you would most likely see results ASAP. For article marketing, this takes a little longer for distribution and acceptance, so this usually takes about 2 weeks.

If you consider these three aspects of Internet Marketing you will have much better results, and we know what that means - sales, customers, and success!

Why Haven't You?

April 22, 2010

Throughout our lives, we often get that one question we cannot answer, it starts like this:  Why Haven't You...

I'm not usually asked this question a whole lot.  But, over the last week, I have been asked over 15 times, the same darn question!

"Why didn't you offer a lower price to first time buyers?"

To be completely, honest, we didn't even think about it.   Although, we did start offering a percentage off for the packages, yesterday, for new clients and customers.  But, if you thought that was unfair, I suppose maybe we should offer an "amazing first time buyer price" option.  This is going to be a lot better than the percentage off, simply because I myself feel bad for overlooking something as (obviously) important to customers and clients.

If you were one of the people that ordered the package and got the percentage off, we are also offering this to you as well - just to make everyone happy!

Simply go to this link, and decide what package you want:
Ultimate Marketing Package

There is the 1 month, 3 month, and 6 month.  However, if you want a bigger package, we can figure out a price for you.

We are ONLY offering the follow prices for the Ultimate Marketing Package to the next 150 customers.  This will go incredibly fast.  So, make sure if you did or didn't order, that you email us at Clients@KristiAmbrose.com and let us know you want THIS price!

First Package was $1,000 but for the first 150 people, we will give it to you for $500
Second Package was $2,500 but for the first 150 people, we will give it to you for $1000
Third Package was for $3,300 but for the first 150 people, we will give it to you for $1,500

Again, I personally apologize!  Live and Learn!

P.S We will make sure we update this blog with how many spots are available, so keep checking back!

***** Update:  As of May 3rd at 1:17pm we have 3 spots left.  I will NEVER offer this price EVER again.  No sales.  No discounts.  No nothing after these spots are filled.

These spots will be taken by the end of the day!  Thanks to everyone that ordered.

Is An Ultimate Marketing Package Really Needed?

March 29, 2010

When it comes time to market your business, website, product or service online, you should really start searching for an ultimate marketing package. You really have an array of choices as far as companies goes.  When choosing a company you should make sure they are trustworthy, loyal, and they can help you figure out what needs to be done in order to make your business more successful. These businesses, as with most marketing businesses, should include certain "services" within the package, such as:

Content Creation: This is specifically for people that have blogs and want to bring customers not only to the blog, but to their website as well. As well as using content for reading purposes, the blog content can also bring in quality traffic by using keywords and hyperlinks in the content. This gets picked up by the search engines when they "crawl" or "spyder" the web page. So this is readable by engines and by people. If the client does NOT have a wordpress or blogger site, we will create one for them and post the content as well. Blogs are 200-250 words long. Keyword enriched.

Social Bookmarking: Like the name says, this is a "bookmarking" service. This allows us to create an account for the client and post to various social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Stumbleupon, Yahoo Buzz, Gmail Buzz, Reddit, del.icio.us, Propeller, etc. It is simply another way to get backlinks and raise your web presence so people know that you exist. Without backlinks, no one knows you are alive!

Viral Video: This would come with ALL the customizations you need - your company name, link, features, benefits, etc. You can even do a voice-over on the video. The video would be posted to YouTube using an account. Since it is YouTube, it will also be posted elsewhere on the Internet that has videos.

Posting on Facebook and Twitter: Social Marketing has ALWAYS been a big part of marketing your business. However, some people simply do not take the time or have the time to post on these two VERY popular websites. It is essential that they find a way to go about this or find someone that can do it for them. So, these marketing companies offer an account creation, posting, quality friend adding, option in the package. This is like marketing your website for free - there are so many people you can reach on these two websites!

Article Marketing: This is a separate package as well, but it's also in the Ultimate Package. Article Marketing is all about backlinks and getting people, quality visitors, to your website. If you do article marketing you can get your website to the first pages of the engines - which is THE most important place to be. Most consumers assume that if a website is on the first few pages of the Internet for a specific keyword (search), then this MUST mean they are the best of the best. While this isn't always true, it will help the business boost its sales.

They should write the content with the keywords selected by the client, and distribute the articles to hundreds of websites across the Internet - directories, blogs, newsgroups, ebook submissions, etc. This boosts the clients website SERPs (search engine results pages). The article contains a resource box which will contain the clients anchor text and url. This article will also include an html code that will let other people place the content on their websites and blogs. Articles should be 450+ words long.

Why You Need An Ultimate Marketing Package

March 28, 2010

A lot of people are new to the Internet and marketing their websites online. These people simply do not understand the possibilities available let alone how the ending results could blow their sales right out of the water. The Internet is considered one of the best ways to market your business. Why? Well, there are a few reasons for this and they are very easy to comprehend!

- First off, you have to consider the amount of people you can reach out to online versus offline. Even if you travel across the world, you can still meet more people online than you would be able to offline.

- Second off, you have what is called the Global marketplace available to you. This has a lot to do with the previous point. You literally have the opportunity to sell your business, product or service to someone from Naples Florida today and from Berlin Germany tomorrow. Imagine what this could do for your sales!

- Third off, a lot of people these days have socialization problems. We have become so used to using technology for ALL parts of our lives, that we often because flustered or nervous when it comes time to talk to someone in person. With the Internet you have email, IM and programs like Skype. Even if you use your phone for your business, you will most likely be doing most of your business over the Internet

- Lastly, online versus offline gives you SO many more options to market, advertise and promote your business. Some services you can buy individually, others (if you are lucky enough) you can buy one big package for ALL your marketing needs.

Buying one big package, especially with a company that people trust, is a superb way to save time and money. And if the company does everything automatically, this is one last thing you have to worry about. Some companies that offer Ultimate Marketing Packages are; Cloud Nine Marketing, Kristi Ambrose Marketing & Content Solutions, and One Time Online Marketing. These are just a few options for you to check out!

These marketing packages should include things like Article marketing, Content Creation, Social Bookmarking, Videos, and of course posting relevant posts on social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Myspace is out, Twitter and Facebook are in! If you want to create buzz about your business, if you want to create backlinks, and if you want to create better SERPs for your keywords, these are the packages you will want to look into!

If a company offers all of the aspects previously mentioned, you can expect to pay $1,000 or more, but it will be well-worth the money and time. For example, Kristi Ambrose Marketing & Content Solutions offers a $1,000 package and you get everything I mentioned, plus you get it all automated. Less worry for the client!

How Can I Utilize Keywords To Make My Web Presence More Pronounced?

January 2, 2010

Firms like Kristi Ambrose Marketing & Content Solutions that specialize not only in content creation, but make sure that your content is SEO optimized - know that there are some key ways to maximize the potential keywords in the text on a website.

Before any writing begins, it is important for you to plan your site. The best way to organize information is to compartmentalize it into pages that can be targeted for specific keywords. Those keywords should be words that are the most popular words that search engine users type in to get to information. Usually you have TWO main options in front of you as far as pages and keywords go. You can either do what Marketers like to call "deep linking", which is just another fancy term for linking to pages within a site rather than the main page. Or, you can bring ALL of the linking to your first page. If you have a blog though, you really want to consider ALL the keywords on ALL the pages because in the end this is going to give you a better chance than a website that is simply a home page and nothing more.

The search engine marketing goal is to make sure that your site is one of the top sites that come up in a search for certain keywords, and to make sure you have selected the keywords in the most frequently selected order and that are typed the most by searchers.

Content is most optimized when you can use market data to determine what words your customers or ideal visitors are typing. Most writers and web site owners use a keyword research tool (some free and some for a small fee) to see which words are the most competitive and which get the most clicks by visitors in the span of month. These handy tools also tell you which words are the most recently popular and how much the average advertiser might pay per click for the keywords that are hyperlinked and embedded in your text.

One SEO trick writers have used effectively is to use keyword phrases instead of just single words. This takes some careful strategy and requires writers to think about how most people think about searches. Also, this seems to give site owners a better chance at beating the odds when it comes to the SERPs on engines such as Google and Yahoo.

If someone were searching for perfumes for women, for example, they may not type the name of the perfume they are looking for if they do not remember it. However, they may remember the perfume endorser or designer and type in "perfume by Chanel" rather than the specific Chanel perfume they want.

If the phrase is more popular than the actual perfume name, it benefits your site more to use the phrase. Good SEO behavior requires you to be as specific as possible and make the word a link to a reputable source site for the perfume. It is also a good idea to use SEO keywords in headings and titles since search engines will be crawling your site and analyzing these headings when determining how important your site is to rank it in search results.

Just so you can see for instance the difference between using single keywords versus actual key phrases here is a sample using the above mentioned keywords/phrases:

Perfume: 53,800,000 results on Google!

Perfume By Chanel: 3,310,000

As we can see, its MUCH less if you use the phrase. You could even go a little further into the phrases and use something like:

Woman's Perfume By Chanel: 916,000 results on Google!

So you see, it clearly benefits you to use phrases in popular markets rather than one-worded keywords. Remember, you are essentially fighting with your competitors over keywords. So if you choose "perfume" you are essentially fighting over 53,800,000 results. Very complex.

Search Engine Marketing is an effective internet tool that can help any business become more visible on the internet today.
